Fireworks.. so romantic...


Sleeping on the floor, tatami-style! It's actually really comfortable and the tatami really keeps you warm and toasty :) Trust us - you can just imagine the look of horror on our faces when we heard we were going to sleep on the floor, i mean we wld just freeze to death!! But Korean houses have this heating system that heats up the floor first so its really warm and snuggly.

i really did not want to come back! argh. was in a terrible mood at the incheon intl airport. did not want to come back and face the realities of work, tuition, driving, interviews, tests, decisions etc etc etc TOTALLY SIAN DIAO

and worstof all i really miss o-pa.

oh look at the trees above. nice right? i took that picture. anybody wanna hire me as professional photographer? those are the 2 rows of trees that bae yong jun and choi ji woo strolled through in winter sonata. really beautiful and serene place on nami island... mmm i miss the cherry blossoms and the howling wind. i miss the layering of jackets and eating prefere ice cream in the midst of cold wind... i miss jeju oranges. i miss lotte world and everland. i miss jesslyn. i miss dongdaemun and hongdae ipgu, and the korean subway line. i miss dunkin donuts. i miss taking scenic shots with my digicam. i miss yongpyong resort and sheraton walker hill hotel. i miss the hot saunas in waterpia even though my thighs are full of itchy rashes now (shit man) and the OPENness of korean women ESPECIALLY in the sauna. haha. i also miss ajashi and opa!

in korea now!! super fun took lots of photos so much so that i have no more memory space!!!! :( ie i took like 300 pics already omg. i have to use my disposable camera now. and msg to bao: your 64mb spoil halfway!! so instead of taking 200 pics i could only take like 120 :( nvm.. i think i'll use my disposable camera.

and.. this one i must blog about. our tour guide sucks. he's all aggressive and pervertic and makes sick jokes about how there are 'earthquakes' when couples in our tour group DO IT in their hotel rooms. like hello! and got this quite chee ko pek ah pek on our group also. other than that the rest are fine.. i think almost half are young people, and by young i mean like prolly 20+ or 30+ the most. and theres this little girl SOOOO CUTE!!! hahaha. and best of all theres this photogropher o-pa who is.. very very nice. when we're cold he give us jacket. hehehe. but we're limited by language lah. haha. okay thats all for now. i think im goin crazy a little bit high now. am at yong pyong ski resort, went to take photos of everything that bae yong jun has touched before ahahahahaha. later going up mt sorak and then going to abai village where they filmed qiu tian de tong hua, tonight got SAUNA!! yay. okok. have fun ppl.

first, i slipped and fell down some steps. hurt my ass - i think i even bounced off 2 steps.
i was wearing a skirt.

second, i tripped on the escalator and almost fell. you know how escalators are - the metal grooves on the escalator steps hurt my feet like hell.

n not forgetting the fucking bullshit i had to sit through. bu yao rang wo lian peng you dou mei you de gen ni zuo.

im really starting to think that my job at indochine is very rewarding! i duno, maybe its just one of my happier and more upbeat working days.. i mean, ive had shitty drop-glasses-and-fruits days as well as screw-up-orders-and-forget-to-replace-plates days, but today was just rewarding.

felt good getting to know jenny, afiq and ray better.. they're a hoot to be with! and jenny and afiq are so cute, haha i only see jenny open up when she's with him. wink wink. and anyways.. i think i have some kind of illness cuz i really enjoyed serving those snootily rich ppl, even though the food platter almost broke my arm and it was quite stressful with jed dash (?) himself handling the food! like, wow, qing shou zuo shi wu man. but the platter was damn feavy. i think i got biceps already. aside from that... bantering with the guests and rubbing shoulders (literally) with the rich and famous of singapore was AN EXPERIENCE in itself! served terrence cao (didnt really leave a very intellectual impression), allan wu (real cute in person! though he rejected the finger food), and i saw *heart beat* MAH BOW TAN! i seriously wanted to go over and say something real impressive and intellectual so he could give me a scholarship but, of course, louts like me are never allowed near the important people.

according to the rest, irene ang and edmund chen were there also... ah but those are just the stars. i think some of the faces in the crowd look familiar, like those rich people whom i probably dont know cuz we dont run in the same circles (duh). and the waterfront people were really friendly! it just felt good working with people who like, smile when they see you and try and help you out with things.. the people i worked with were really nice and even just a passing smile meant a lot to me. haha. im emo.

we got to wear real cute sailormoon outfits for the event! cuz its like this marina sail club, i think they're trying to sell membership. so we wore the sailer scarf/bib, complete with white t-shirt and hat! haha. as if i dont already look young enough. i think in sailor outfit i probably looked like i was 5 or something, no wonder the guests were so nice to me when i served them hahaha. one old guy even asked me how old i am, what im gonna study in uni, and all that. darn shouldve asked him for a scholarship. too bad no cameras to capture the moment! we all looked real cute. hahahaha

OH. most importantly. the finger food was good, yeah, oh boy. salmon, salmon with mayonnaise, pork (doesnt sound tempting but it really tastes good), crab, tuna/fish springroll, scallop, prawn and cheese&crackers. and the fruits were sweet!

funny sight: i tell ray (malay guy) that the stuff on the bread is pork, so he picks off the pork and eats the remaining stuff. Next scene: ray drinking heineken. haha :)

new modes of transport (unaided!): KTM Komuter line, Putra LRT, KTM Intercity(Singapore - KL), Mini Bas Persiaran that overcharged us with the price of 30rm.
new musik: trance, house, rum jungle-style
new dance: the melbourne shuffle (muahahahah) and other head-bopping movements
new food: (don't get shocked when you see this) nasi goreng, authentic MALAYSIAN roti boy, more dunkin donuts

new love? none. only the same old one. :)
