Thursday, July 14, 2005 sweet cravings I'M BACK!! after a 5 day hiatus cos of the 3d2n camp CIRCLE at smu.ok wait it wasnt AT smu. it was at cdans/chinese gardens, the former being an ulufied adventure campsite in bukit batok right next to bbdc. ok back to the topic. i've had sweet cravings ever since i broke camp! first was cheonging tim tam and lemon biscuits, courtesy of yingtee, outside Cheers mart at chinese garden mrt station while waiting for that LAO POK taxi driver to come that never came. he cant even differentiate betweeen chinese garden mrt and lakeside mrt lah! then after that i went to visit alex with a macho flower, haha i think he was quite shocked to see me. stayed there till around ten, and i left with a smile on my face :) i duno it was just so nice to see him again after the torturous camp. it makes me smile to see him trying to smile and see him rolling his eyes, just like the alex i know! Then i trooped off to take bus 9 which took so damn long to come.. after sitting on the bus for so long i had this sudden desire to get off at simpang and i did! went to drink good old milo dinosaur - the best sugar fix ever! - and eat kosong prata with sugar. yum yum. then mummy came and i drove her home. and now im sitting in front of the comp eating meiji's mango yoghurt! yup guys, meiji yoghurt got new flavour and remember you heard it from me first! the mango rocks! damn mangoy, and there are PLENTY of bite sized chewy mango bits in the yoghurt. mmmmmm. bao u will love this. Anyway camp was, sad to say, BORING. spelt with caps BBBBBB. cos after every activity we were forced to reflect! think about the lessons learnt during the activity! what were your feelings! and crap like that. i mean, i know that this is a leadership and teambuilding camp but i feel the activities r very... sec school. a been there done that kinda thing lah. and theres no need to push it such that we reflect every single thing we do! it takes away the fun element totally! Main highlights of the camp include: 1) getting my bathroom privacy invaded when this girl totally went to open the door of the portashower while i was bathing - stark naked! like thanks! HELLO! DIDNT YOU SEE THE SLIPPERS OUTSIDE THE DOOR!! like wtf totally. if i see her....... i'm SO gonna kill her. grrrr. u know who u are! u cant hide. 2) reaching the endpoint tyre when climbing the structure in the "high elements" segment of activities! i was the only girl to reach although my DEAR facilitator happily LAUGHED at me (while i was up there on the structure!!) cos i couldnt reach the tyre cos it was too high! basket lor. 3) building a raft and paddling it across the muddy chinese garden river. i was practically wading in mud. seriously. now my toenails are black. and i threw away the pair of shoes i wore for that. 4) i guess 4 would be getting carried almost everyday of the camp by guys. heh heh. two sub points about this - i dont really like sitting on a guy's shoulder. feels weird n unstable. 2: i like sitting on two guys' interlocked arms. i think its super stable and feels like a human sedan, heh heh thanks niu nai tuan guys!!! :) And that's about it. i think my group is super enthu. really onz and like damn hiong. usually ppl chao geng to get an excuse to zao from camp, my camp mates arh, injured liao all still insist on staying on in the camp or even playing the games la! chaoji wu di SUPER ONZ!!!think we were overall tops lah so well done guys keep up the good work, it was enjoyable to sit back and watch the more enthu ppl take charge :D Mrs Brightside at 11:48 pm {xoxo}
