I received this email at 4.53pm, in the midst of my MA exam (oh, the irony!). And I NEED HELP! Read below...

i realised that livejournal.com is like a mini online sorority, where girls share their joys and woes and friends comment, giving words of encouragement or literary celebrations.

I like sororities :)

And of course i love my girls too.. all of you out there you know who you are :P I WILL JIAYOU!

oh gawd. if not for all the encouragement i think my insides would just dieeeeeeeeeee.

and, of course, the darling who drops by for dinner almost everyday and keeps himself mindlessly occupied with games that have equally mindless titles like WW2 Pacific Heroes. while i toil away at MA and law and what not.

p.s. we have tried every stall of bak chor mee in blk 85 and the winner is... *drum roll* AH POH MEAT NOODLES! it is hidden away from view, along the same row as the chai chee porridge stall. It's the best! don't eat the corner one in front, their noodles and meatballs suck. Also dont eat the one next to it, have to wait damn long! i think we waited a good 30min for ours to arrive.. heh. food revue (pun intended on crazy horse! muahaha) of the day!

i had this strange dream where you could choose between taking the MA exam 1 week earlier or taking MA the week of biz law, and i chose the latter. I remember jasmine telling me "take 1 week earlier lah better not clash with law". Hmm i wonder what made me choose the latter. And then somehow i was at a shopping centre and i saw fann wong. she went to develop photos and her photos would be ready in 20 min time (she thought it was gonna take 10) and the shop assistant very the buay song with her. bet she wont patronize it again.

this is what happens when you sleep too much. and study too much MA. :(

Possibly the last caroling session i attended this year. :( singing descant alone was harrowing! urk. Had a great time though there was this little baby girl crawling around in front of us while we were singing! SOOOOOOO cutee i wanted to pick her up and kiss her heh :P so pretty.

So, so tired. Came back all worn out n hungry, ate RAVENOUSLY (i would call that bingeing), then fell asleep immediately after eating in front of the tv.

What a pig! Shit man. grossness. Feeling a bit worn out from all the BGS presentations today. They made it wonder if all the work we've done for BGS is worth it, or is fluff more important to the prof than anything else?

Some good tips for the clueless:

1. Never discount convenience for quality.
Coffee Club Express' sucks. Or maybe i just cant appreciate good ol' bitter, 'full-bodied' coffee - i need a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato, short, with low-fat milk please. :)

2. And NEVER think that you can multi-task. Cos you can't."
Ever wonder why people only read while they're getting their hair done? And never eat, drink, sms, whatever other solitary activities? That's cos YES, hair will get in the way. And hair will fall into your bad coffee if you drink it while getting your hair done.

3. I'm a secret coffee junkie!
Yesterday I spent $13 alone in Starbucks. One spinach and mushroom quiche, one caramel macchiato, short, and one caramel cappucino. Mmmmmm... caffeine boost! I really think i've become an addict. All thanks to Sim.

So much for me being 'open' and encouraging people not to discriminate against gays. To let them come out of the closet - they have nothing to hide. So much for gay advocacy in me. So much for my 'liberal education' that taught me to be welcoming and open. Cos deep down, when it hits closer to home, i might be a closet gay-unacceptor.

I advice others not to treat gays differently from all other people, but when i see things happening right under my nose, i look away or feel queasy about it. I've even written a gay advocacy essay for my (successful) application to U.Mich. So why the double standards in me? Maybe i need something like this to keep me in check. To bring me closer to the reality that i want and try to stand for.

I have this feeling she's gonna be a permanent fixture in family functions and in Gan Ma's house. Well, just gotta keep an open mind, right? It's not sin to indulge in activities that dont hurt you.

in an attempt to snatch my bed back from the monsters of my belongings, i finally decided to - yes, you guessed it - tidy my room!! n it didnt take too long so finally i can sleep in my own bed already... :) happy girl.

am painting my nails now.. everyone: anticipate something shocking the next time u see me. muahahah. and i also got myself a new tattoo which is literally 'cool', haha show u all next time (hopefully it doesnt run out by e time i see some of u guys!!)

as u can tell, i've turned really bo liao. well, that's what u do when u have NO MORE FUCKING PRESENTATIONS!!! yes ;)

Update: No more shocking nails. just boring ol pure black. i painted over those shocking ones cos, well, they were too shocking. imagine a nail cuticle, painted half black n half green! i think most friends i know will faint, haha.
