Diving! Driving. Sang in chorale. Went to university.

2. Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

Eh i forgot what i made last year. Probably none. Next year only got 2 - save $, exercise more!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

nope sadly.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

again no. phew.

Ooh i like to talk about this. In chronological order...

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?

more money. more time (with you). a nice body! :)

7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

25 July at Changi Village :)

25 December at Kuala Lumpur :)

uh... i wanna remember all my travelling stuff from Q5 lah. heh.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

surviving zhong ming. ha ha ha

9. What was your biggest failure?

to keep in contact with all my friends... still havent managed to meet up or catch up with everyone yet!

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Nosebleeding and DCI after diving!! Also, ear blocks. URGH. And a giant burn mark on my thigh courtesy of motorcycle exhaust pipe. And itchiness after diving in Hantu.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

a Yamaha R1 Tamiya model, which i also made into a BEAUTIFUL bike. heh.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?

uh... ginny. for being a brave strong girl who is not easily defeated :) and shiqin! for believing and having faith. and siqing for doing so well in SMU!

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?

A lor.

14. Where did most of your money go?

at least sq's money went to shopping. mine went to diving oh gawd i think i spent at least 1k+++

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

Bangkok!!! (it's true, nearer events really stay in your mind.) and Korea i think i really had a lot of fun there with bubu and ginny, reliving all the drama moments.. plus an o-pa to boot :):)

16. What songs will always remind you of 2005?

This one wins hands down - Guang Liang's Tong Hua! I think EVERYONE knows that song.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

i) …happier or sadder?: Happier. Last year this time i just broke up.

ii) thinner or fatter?: Fatter. duh.

iii) richer or poorer?: Poorer. MUCH MUCH poorer (to quote SQ)

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?

EXERCISE! and spend more time with my friends of course.

Well wish i spent less.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?

hmm i've spent this year's overseas. Next christmas i wanna be back home, with friends and singing carols @ raffles :)

haha what can i say. definitely.

er none. do i look promiscuous to you.

I don't remember desperately following any shows, maybe except tian guo de jie ti? I love Discovery's mythbusters though. i followed desperate housewives for a while..

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?

yeah the guy from Orpheus dive. he is biased against SMU divers!

26. What was the best book you read?

must be Freakonomics! I am still reading why toast always lands butter side down too, but not finished yet. it SMELLS like a delicious book though :)

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?

Mayday!!

28. What did you want and get?

Great A levels. SMU Scholarship.

29. What did you want and not get?

to go to USA to study... :( compensation: going to florida in 2006!

im trying not to name recent flicks. perhaps the aviator? though i fell asleep halfway.

19 LOH! i spent the day before with you with a brilliant birthday surprise at clarke quay and the gift - beloved butterflies hanging on my neck. actual day i went for chorale. haha

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

sounds unbelievable but i would have wanted to go to Sri Lanka for CIP.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?

laid back and comfy.

all you friends out there - s1e, ginny+bubu, valerie, SMU classmates + gang.

none. unless you count kelvin tan ha ha ha

Never attempt to drink a whole jug of long island tea on an empty stomach.

many many many. zhong ming. my brother for being increasingly less hostile + more hospitable. my mum even though she's all PMSy. xavier for being so damn brotherly that i love him for that. valerie, for being so far yet so near, with me all the time:) ginny for being my shoulder to cry on, my listening ear. my bra. hahahaha dont kill me for this! siqing for being my clubbing and chorale and SMU and biz law companion! ngeesh for being so far away that i miss her terribly :( phuong, lynnette and jasmine for being my long suffering classmates heh heh. all my s1e girls + hongyi - for always laughing at my lameness and always being there for outings! ellen, sammie, rina, wanwen, fel. and sufi of course. my project mates! the most memorable one with jian feng, reb, yt and phuong. the SMUX dive team for intro-ing me to a sport that i cant seem to get enough of. baobao for always being in hall so i can visit her and sleep over and not be bored in antiyou heh. serene for always being encouraging :) chloe for being my chorale hao huo ban! ben koh, ryan, york and the OG peeps for not killing orientation for me, and supporting me at concert! ok im listing out everyone now.
