My new favourite hangout: the kitchen!

Yes, the one place in the house where i can seek solace away from all that books, notes, mugging and even my own laptop. I look forward to the time of the day where i can growl about being hungry and march towards the kitchen to whip up something nice n satisfying to eat. Its my way of destressing n taking a break from all that studying, hehe :P

Mon: korean claypot ramyeon - yumyum!
Tues: japanese curry rice
Wed: plain rice + xiao bai cai + mincemeat with sliced potatos!

oh how i love cooking! :) today it will be fried rice + curry chicken to top it off. yayness!

My favourite way to start the day:



Trust me, it's really REALLY good. It's as good as it looks, and even the factual description on the box sounds good:

like zomg how delish can that get? Only at Marks & Spencer. Apparently, according to makan sutra's forum, only 50 boxes are shipped in every month! and they're always snapped up wayy before hand. People even preorder this stuff, can u believe it?

Many thanks to mummy dearest, she knows i like this one. and she buys it for me whenever she sees it on the shelves, even though its exhorbitant (nobody pays $7.90 for breakfast cereals) its a rare, occasional treat. yum yum.

anyway nothing much to say. two red spots have strangely appeared precariously near my left eye. please dont let it be eye infection or something like that - i wash my contacts every day and change my contacts lens casing every so often. *begs*

so i guess no contacts for me tomorrow. I practise self discipline. not until those red spots go away.
anyway, happy birthday jasmine! haha i know a bit late lah but well what matters is i wished u on the day itself, so this is like kinda a repeat wish. and im lazy to put up photos so i'll jus link them here. its that time of the year again. turning twenty soon! looking forward to it actually, unlike lily. and no, its not cos of being one step nearer to being able to watch RA movies. or anything remotely near that. i dont know, i always fancied growing up :) so people would start taking me seriously instead of treating me like a kid jus cos i looked that way.

oh well nothing much on the wish list this time, perhaps just get me something i could use to combat the cold weather in germany? No gloves or heat pacs please.. i have those. hehe. and erm no ski caps/mufflers/mittens yah i'm TWENTY liao so yeah i cant wear those kids stuff. and no michelin baby please. if you have no idea what michelin baby is, check this out:



Yup, a little obscene i admit. but please dont get any like ruffled or folded winter coats that, well, make you look like michelin junior up there. Or worse, furry jackets. a big no-no.

anything small and sweet will be appreciated too :) dont spend too much on me yah.

sigh. my mind's on everything except the books. its filled with germany, germany and germany. and prague. and then some.

roar. i hate the stupid prague hostel. they go from available to full in 1 freaking day. unbelievable i tell u.

and now, i end up paying about SGD1,000 for 4 nights accomodation in prague. is that fucking ridiculous or what. im really pissed that i am paying so much just to stay there. It is peak period and all, but im angry that the hostel filled up so quick. it is really quite pissing.

and the DB too. roar dont get me started. german rail pass is really weird. i hope they quickly send me the bloody pass.

and i am damn damn restless. i cant start studying until i get all these planned out, i mean i dont wanna be stranded in the middle of the night somewhere in between frankfurt, prague or bratislava (so says lynnette). so all these things have to be settled now and i cant put my heart to rest if it isnt settled.

just between me and my mum, we've so far spent about 5k for our 8 day trip germany/czech. including airfare, accomm, rail tickets and insurance. thats bloody hell a lot of money, roar. pissed. curse the hotels that jack up prices during the new year.
